Hues sweaters come in five sizes and fit dogs from 3 lbs to 20 lbs. There are
currently l4 different colors to choose from. Our sweaters are handmade from the
specialty fiber of Alpaca and are conditioned using a specific process for
softness and comfort.
Alpaca Facts
In Inca times the garments of
Alpaca fiber were limited to Royalty; the penalty for commoners caught wearing
Alpaca was instant death
*Alpaca is a specialty fiber with air pockets within each fiber, giving it
superior insulating capability
*Breathes with the body, keeping it from overheating
*Keeps the body warm, even when wet
*Three times warmer and seven times stronger compared to wool of equal weight
*Lightweight and naturally hypo-allergenic and lanolin free
*Does not produce chemical effluents in mill producing (helps keep our rivers
and lakes cleaner)
*Alpaca is naturally lustrous

| The easiest way to size
your dog is to know your dogs weight. Size 8 fits a dog weighing approx 3 lbs. ie: Tiny Chiahuahua, or smaller puppy Size l0 fits a dog weighing approx 5 lbs. ie: Yorkie or 5-6 lb Chiahuahua Size l2 fits a dog weighing approx l0 lbs. ie: Some Rat terriers and smaller Pugs, larger Chiahuahuas Size l4 fits a dog weighing approx l5 lbs. ie: Miniature Poodle, some Jack Russells, Cairn Terriers Size l6 fits a dog weighing approx 20 lbs. ie: Beagle, Westhighland terriers Note: If your dog is approximately 13 lbs and is very stout and thick, you would most likely need a size l4. If your dog is approximately 13 and very narrow and thin, you would most likely need a size 12 |
